Todd was born on October 29, 1961, in Port Angeles.
He was taken from us on November 14, 2007.
He graduated from Crescent High School in 1980.
During his high school years, he was a standout athlete in football and
track. He set a B-8 Kingbowl record with the longest kickoff return - a
record which lasted 16 years. He is still listed in the state record
book with eight all-purpose touchdowns in one game.
He also holds several high school records.
Todd loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, clamming, crabbing and
mushroom picking.
He was an avid hiker in Olympic National Park, hiking the Bailey Range
twice, Seven Lakes Basin many times and also reaching the summit of
Mount Baker with his brother, Brad.
His favorite hikes were along the Elwha River to Humes Ranch and Lake
Mills, where he and his children went many times.
Todd owned and operated his logging business for many years and was
featured in Loggers World magazine. He belonged to the Washington
Contract Loggers Association.
He had a commitment to his community, volunteering often to help others,
and was a past president of the Crescent Bay Lions Club.
Todd loved his children dearly and was loved by them in return. He was a
son, brother and uncle who was loved, admired and treasured. He will be
deeply missed.
